Job Description

CW Nashville / MY TV 30 Nashville is looking for a dynamic and energetic On-Air Host. Come live, work, and play in the Music City Nashville, TN market #29.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting responsibly as On-Air Host for CW Nashville & MyTV30
• Performing as On-air Host on various CW Nashville & MyTV30 promotional and sales announcements
• Participate, seek out and engage in station related events and charity events in public
• Become familiar with both stations TV shows, schedules, events, and image
• Create excitement for all station initiatives to drive viewers to watch our programs, participate in contests and attend our events
• Digital promotion of stations through Web, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Participate in Look-Live remotes and Facebook Live from client and station events
• Public appearances as requested by clients and other station partners
• Attend a minimum of 8 outside events per month and 10 during Friday Night Rivals
• Attend and conduct interviews at all FNR and HSH sports events for station
• Host and produced entertainment segments and other videos for both stations as needed
• Host for in-house programs featuring station clients
• Interview clients and or station partners for segments that air on our stations
• Duties may include participation on an anticipated Lifestyle Show.

Requirements and Qualifications include:
• Previous on camera experience
• A college degree, Communications or Journalism major is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Client services skills are a must
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to interview and speak on-camera
• Must provide headshot
• Must provide Video examples of previous work if possible
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Outside work possible with approval
• No changes to hair or appearance without managerial approval
