Job Description

FOX Sports Regional Networks is seeking a Sales & Marketing Intern! The Regional Sports Networks Sales & Marketing Intern will be based in Los Angeles, CA and will work with the RSN Corporate team to support the all advertising sales and marketing efforts.

Learning Objective:

To expand knowledge of sports media, TV ad sales, marketing and live streaming – and play a valuable role with the Regional Sports Networks.

About the department:

The Regional Sales & Marketing department oversees and provides support to the 21 regional networks nationwide, through on-air promotion, digital, social media and grassroots marketing efforts. This group works to enhance the company's partnerships, assist and bolster the company's ad sales objectives, and support the regions in their marketing initiatives that promote the networks' local NBA, NHL, MLB, Collegiate and High School sports team partners.

Responsibilities:
• Support of marketing campaigns focused on NBA, NHL, MLB and FOX Sports GO

• Evaluation of regional social media and digital platforms

• Facilitate collection of footage and assets for campaigns and presentations

• Provide insight into market trends and make recommendations on the position of the RSNs within the current advertising landscape

• Leadership over analyzing and managing streaming data

• Help oversee advertising inventory management for FOX Sports GO

• Develop new ways to position streaming to clients and agencies

• Contribute to expanding social media sales efforts

• Help grow best practices initiative across the RSNs, finding and sharing successes in the areas of marketing, production, sales, and more

• Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:
• Business major preferred, but not required

• Solutions-oriented, highly motivated self-starter

• Exceptional organizational skills, with strong attention to detail

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel

• Thrives in fast-paced environment, delivering under tight deadlines

• Passionate about sports media, digital media, marketing and advertising sales
