Business Development Representative Role Details:

The Drive Auto Center for Business Development will play a vital role in generating sales leads. The department's function is to assist in developing new business sales, supplying the sales lead funnel, and responding to incoming leads. As this role will interact directly with potential clients, some sales or customer service experience is required. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of sales lead generation experience. Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus but is not necessary. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Sales Operations.

Day-to-Day Activities may include, but are not limited to:
• Develop warm leads for sales team proposals.
• Monitor, review, score, and classify leads coming in from DriveAuto.com.
• Manage CRM entries for all leads, prospects, and clients.
• Email prospects and leads with customizable templates.
• Call on leads and prospects with customizable talk-tracks.
• Respond quickly and directly to incoming emails or phone calls.
• Research potential clients in new markets.
• Assist with development of new communications and scripts.
• Set up and deploy marketing automation prompts.
• Set appointments for sales team members.
• Develop initial sales information customized to a prospect, including but not limited to Value Propositions, Capabilities Decks, and About Drive Auto slides.
• Communicate directly with sales representatives to hand-over relationship ownership.

Requirements:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow a sales talk-track and be able to provide additional insights as needed.
• Basic Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Outlook
• Highly organized and detail oriented with a great ability to keep multiple prospects in mind at any one time.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus but not a requirement.
• Self-starter with experience converting directions into a clear path of success.
