Job Description
Sinclair, Inc. is looking for an Audio/Video Editor for its growing podcast portfolio who will play a key role in bringing multi-channel programming around the company to life.

We're looking for someone who has a versatile production background with a deep passion for digital content, specifically podcasts. Candidates must have experience in conceptualizing and executing short and long form video production, editing and sound designing audio content, with an understanding of the entire production process from start to finish. Experience with social platforms and YouTube, specifically in sports, is a plus.

What You'll Do:
• Collaborate with cross-department teams to shape the overall look + sound of Sinclair's growing podcast portfolio
• Develop technical setups, including audio and video hardware and software, both in-person and virtually
• Engineer and record content both in-person and virtually, capture and organize media efficiently
• Craft the visual elements (i.e. graphics, templates, title cards) and execute sound design across a variety of shows
• Assemble all episode elements, mix together cohesively, and master full episodes to completion
• Create a workflow to ensure production efficiency; educate both internal and external teams on best practices
• Work collaboratively with the social and marketing teams to create episode cutdowns for promotion across linear, social, and other digital channels
• Make informed editorial decisions around content, episode length, and metadata, optimizing show for maximum audience growth
• Execute sponsorship elements, adhering to campaign requirements
• Upload episodes to both audio and video hosting platforms. Input metadata and schedule publishing
• Optimize video version of podcasts for distribution across linear, FAST, and other distribution channels
• Assist in operating and maintaining podcast studio space in Los Angeles
• Keep up with latest trends, software, and analytics to make informed editorial decisions and help drive innovative ways to create new content
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are:
• Minimum 3+ years of high-level audio + video production experience
• Highly skilled in both video and audio editing software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite)
• Understanding of both in-person and remote studio setups (cameras, lighting, microphones, etc.) with an ability to both set up and troubleshoot
• Adept at remote recording software (i.e Riverside, Squadcast, Streamyard, etc.) and publishing platforms (Megaphone, YouTube, etc.)
• An eye for quality content, with an understanding of what plays well across various channels
• Strong collaborator and team player, dedicated work ethic, highly dependable, and passionate about multimedia production
• Effective communicator, extremely well organized, and able to work efficiently against multiple deadlines
• Consistently maintain a professional demeanor; comfortability interacting with high-level talent and celebrities
• Flexibility to travel and work nights and/or weekends, as projects call for

The base salary compensation range for this role is $60,000 to $75,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
