Sinclair Broadcast Group is looking for a Noon Anchor/Reporter for KFDM, our CBS affiliate in Beaumont, Texas. Applicants should have at least 1-2 years experience reporting with some anchoring preferable, either full-time or in a substitute anchor position. Applicants should have strong news content judgment and at least some producing experience. Applicants should be strong, creative writers who understand how to write well for broadcasting, with outstanding grammar, spelling and language skills. We're looking for a noon anchor/reporter who utilizes the new/now/next philosophy of writing with urgency, and placing the newest, most updated information in the lead. Good tease writing is essential. Reporting experience is necessary with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
