Simon & Schuster is currently looking for an Assistant to join the Simon & Schuster Speakers Bureau team. This person will provide support to the bureau's Director and Lecture Agent and help manage event coordination for a roster of in-house authors. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support for the Bureau, which includes managing a general phone line and mailbox, maintaining a CRM database with all author and event logistics, and coordinating book mailings
• Manage author travel and event logistics for both in-person and virtual events
• Liaise directly with authors and clients on event itineraries and logistics
• Manage the bureau's finances, track invoices, and submit payments
• Write and edit copy for the bureau's website, newsletter, and marketing materials
• Schedule social media posts across the bureau's social channels

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The annual salary for this position is $50,000.00 - 50,000.00

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
