Job Profile:

We have an exciting, fixed-term vacancy for a Rights Assistant to join our fast-paced, busy and dynamic team. Reporting to the Deputy Rights Director you will work across the Adult and Children's list.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for providing administration support to the Group Rights Director, Deputy Rights Director and Senior Rights Manager: organising business trips and book fair appointments; helping send out follow-up material; updating our submissions database, drafting contracts, liaising with international customers over file supply and generally providing administrative duties across the team.

Your Profile:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and a meticulous eye for detail. This is a very busy role, and would suit someone with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task. The successful candidate will have a passion for books and an interest in international publishing. Knowledge of a foreign language would be useful but is not essential. IT skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
