The Manager of Children's Advertising and Paid Digital Media is part of the Advertising & Creative Services Department. This department acts as the corporate agency that serves all the imprints of Simon & Schuster, including the Children's group. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and creative team to execute a diverse array of advertising and marketing campaigns for Children's titles. Tasks include:
• Create and implement paid social media and other digital advertising campaigns across self-serve platforms for Children's titles
• Launch and optimize sponsored product and headline search campaigns on Amazon for the Children's group
• Monitor live digital ad campaigns and provide performance reports in a timely manner
• Reserve print and digital advertising campaigns and submit creative assets to vendors
• Brainstorm advertising recommendations for various titles and identify new vendors and outlets to best reach parents and kids
• Analyze marketing data, conceptualize trends, and prepare presentations including a monthly Children's ad performance report to be shared in a meeting with the team
• Incorporate 1st party data and pixel retargeting into campaign strategy across the board
• Attend weekly marketing meetings, launch meetings, and other key author/title focus meetings
• Run the weekly Children's production meeting covering active advertising initiatives

Candidate should have four years or more of relevant experience. They should be interested in Children's publishing and must be exceptionally well-organized, detail oriented, possess positive communication skills, and be able to work in a high-volume environment while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of DSPs, Amazon advertising platform, Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Analytics), FileMaker, and Sprinklr are a plus; experience with Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint) and self-serve ad platforms (Meta, Google, etc.) are a must.
