Job Profile:

Reporting to the Managing Director (MD) India, this is a varied role providing EA support and includes managing the schedule as well as interactive with multiple departments.

The Role:

You will be the main point of contact for various service providers and on occasion authors. You will have responsibility for electronically maintaining diaries and appointments for the MD and as we are an international publisher, you will also be in charge of booking and coordinating local and international travel arrangements, including visas and currency, as well as handling entertainment, hotel and restaurant bookings.

You will handle all correspondence for the MD including screening telephone calls, providing administrative support, filing, photocopying, processing invoices, ad-hoc payments, and other routine tasks. You will be expected to periodically review, improve and develop all systems and processes to support business effectiveness.

The Candidate Profile:

We are looking for an EA who can support and work with Senior management teams, within a fast-paced commercially orientated organisation. It is desirable that you have the ability to work on your own initiative and with little supervision.

You will be an effective communicator, able to convey messages in an accurate and reliable manner through a variety of communication channels; Use tailored communication appropriate for the audience; be tactful and diplomatic; apply utter discretion in all matters of confidentiality. You will have the ability to collaborate, manage potentially conflicting priorities and focus to reach a positive outcome for all, whilst sharing information and resources appropriately.

You will have a pragmatic attitude, along with an ability to react quickly, effectively, and decisively as well as be trustworthy and supportive with a high degree of integrity and loyalty. As a proactive team player, you will be confident, professional and conscientious with the ability to multi-task.

Candidate should have a strong knowledge of MS Office in order to deal with online customers' queries.
