DESCRIPTION:
The editorial assistant is needed to help coordinate the publication schedules for the imprint, correspond with authors, artists, and agents, and contribute creative input to the growing publishing program, working closely with the Editorial Director and editors. The Editorial Assistant will be involved in all aspects of a book's creation, from brainstorming or acquisition through the production stage and will have the opportunity to be directly involved with creative development for our ongoing series.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have strong writing and communication skills, a specific interest in young children's literature, and the ability to work in a quick-paced group. Writing experience is strongly considered.
