This position exists to support the Audio Production department in all studio-related and administrative areas. The Assistant works directly with the whole department & reports to the VP of Audio Production.

Major Responsibilities/Tasks:
--Codes and oversees all billing for Audio Production, a time-consuming process because of the great number of freelancers (actors, producers, directors, engineers, etc). Also handles all S&S studio expenses.
--Creates and updates a budget spreadsheet for every title. Supplies budget estimates, based on these spreadsheets, for our business department.
--Orders and reviews contracts for actors and producers. Sends contracts out for signatures, follows up with agents, distributes to all involved and maintains a contracts database.
--Supports manuscript manager in acquiring and tracking manuscripts
--Serves as back-up associate producer, which includes reading & writing summaries of books for the casting of readers; script formatting; pronunciation research; and scheduling of readers, studios & engineers.
--Works with a union paymaster for the payment of readers who are SAG-AFTRA members and acquires tax information as needed.
--Maintains an audio production database, with information about every title produced.
--Handles all general office maintenance.

Bachelor's degree required. Strong writing, communication, organization skills , and comfort with budget work. Proficiency with Excel , Concur, FTP, Adobe Acrobat, iTunes, MS Office, MS Outlook.

Approximately two years office experience preferred but not required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The annual salary for this position is $50,000.00 - $54,000.00

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Salary Details
Salary Range: $50,000 to $54,000 Per Year ($ USD)
