Freelance Associate Contracts Manager (3-6 month project)
DESCRIPTION:
The Associate Contracts Manager will be working with the Atria, Gallery, Avid Reader and Free Press groups to prepare all acquisition contracts, negotiate with the content owners and their representatives, perform backlist research, answers all contracts-related questions and perform tasks (both data entry and analysis) within S&S's proprietary systems and otherwise
Please note that this is a freelance position that will span 3-6 months.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 3-5 years of experience working with book publishing agreements is required along with finely-honed negotiation skills.
