Overview:

The Manager, Audience Insights and Media Performance, supports the Director(s) of Audience Insights and Media Performance with target audience development, connection between on network and off-network media planning, and day-to-day department operations. This role is responsible for stewarding plan development and analyzing media performance alongside internal marketing teams, agency partners and analytics counterparts. The Audience Insights and Media Performance team works across a wide array of verticals including Paramount+ and Showtime original series, non-fiction, reality, Sci-Fi, brand, awards, theatricals, sports, news, and kids & family programming.

The Manager serves as a day-to-day contact for internal collaborators and media agency teams and is in charge of shepherding series-specific plans from target build through performance analysis. This cross-functional role is uniquely positioned to partner with Marketing Analytics and Media Forecasting & Planning counterparts to provide campaign insights for marketing Snapshots, campaign post-mortems, and other analysis. This position will report to the Senior Director or Director of Audience Insights and Media Performance. Join the team!

Responsibilities:
• Supply to the creation of marketing target audiences for individual show priorities working in collaboration with Research and the media AOR to apply various tools and audience segmentation work
• Build slides for marketing producer decks and communicating work to executive level management
• Support the Director(s) of Audience Insights and Media Performance with background research for development of marketing business goals and approach for individual series alignment
• Develop the go-to-market approach for paid media efforts by better aligning Cross Company owned & operated support with paid media plans to garner maximum output and efficiencies
• Build a more refined media strategic framework for each campaign, distilling Program & Brand Marketing's briefs into a more actionable focus for paid media planning
• Work alongside the MSTRAT team for media planning development based on the various data & research levers available
• Serve as the connective tissue from marketing to media across the full campaign lifecycle based on data, research studies and real-time media performance in market
• Collaborate with peers across departments to find opportunities for campaign optimization
• Represent the Audience Insights and Media Performance team alongside peers in cross functional meetings with Media, Program Marketing, Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Marketing Promotions, On-Air, etc. and disseminate planning decisions to help cross-functional departments activate campaigns!

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years working in entertainment marketing with a focus on media strategy planning, and activation
• Extensive knowledge of marketing, advertising, and media planning principles, with a working knowledge of interactive TV applications and data-driven buying methods
• Experience on multi-channel campaigns including national and local television, streaming, connected TV, radio, outdoor, digital, and social

Additional Qualifications:
• Media agency experience heavily preferred
• Constantly stays abreast of digital trends, new technologies, entertainment streaming platforms, social media community developments, brand partnership collaborations, and first-to-market advertising opportunities
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences
• Curiosity for the entertainment space and knowledge of Paramount+, Showtime programming
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the cable television industry including the programming, marketing, and distribution aspects of the competitive category
• Ability to handle a wide-range of projects and multi-task. Pays close attention to detail and follow-up
• Ability to author complete and polished presentations in Power Point / Keynote to present to senior executives

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $74,400.00 - 102,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
