Job Description
Reporting to the VP, Total Rewards, the Compensation & Reporting Senior Analyst is a partner to HR Business Partners, finance leads and external consultants on all compensation related matters including job architecture, base salary, pay programs and related projects. This role will understand key business drivers in order to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions. The Senior Analyst will ensure Sesame Workshop maintains competitive and equitable compensation across the board.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMPENSATION:
• Support various compensation projects from planning and implementation to execution. Projects include, but not limited to, job architecture redesign, salary analysis, and annual bonus plans.
• Partner with internal teams (HR Business Partners, Finance leads and Department heads) and external consultants to build a deep understanding of job duties for evaluation of pay level, market benchmarks and internal equity to influence employment offers, pay adjustments and promotions
• Partner with Finance and Payroll on year-end bonus calculations and payouts
• Support the HR Business Partners and HRIS in performing the annual merit review process
• Conduct and manage compensation benchmarking and survey participation to support competitive analysis of compensation programs
• Evaluate data and operational issues and find opportunities for improvement and efficiency

REPORTING:
• Assist with ADP system enhancements related to Compensation and headcount reporting
• Assist with monthly and quarterly headcount reporting as provided to senior leadership
• Regularly audit compensation data to ensure files are accurate and up to date
• Coordinate with Finance on open headcount reporting including the research and pricing of domestic jobs to help with financial planning
• Contribute to the creation of new and/or custom ADP reporting

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Preferably a degree in a related discipline or equivalent
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in compensation and/or human resources
• Professionalism and maturity a must, ability to deal with confidential data
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Prior experience with Human Resource Information System(s)
• Ability to produce detailed, accurate reports and insights that support sound decision-making
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills a must
• Takes ownership and accountability of assigned projects and tasks with strong follow-through
• Effective oral and written communication skills
