Job Description
Sesame Workshop is looking for a Coordinator, Individual Giving. The Coordinator, Individual Giving , assists in the ongoing operations of Sesame Workshop's Individual Giving program, with a specific focus on communications, gift acknowledgment, data hygiene, and administrative support. This position reports to the Director, Individual Giving.

The Individual Giving program is responsible for bringing in unrestricted gifts of $10,000 and under. It does this through a combination of direct mail renewal and acquisit i on, digital fundraising, peer-to-peer campaigns, and an annual virtual fundraising event. This is a new position created to support a new and growing program.

Responsibilities
• Serve as a point of first contact for Individual Giving donors ($10K and under), managing the Individual Giving email and voicemail inboxes, with oversight from the Manager, Individual Giving.
• Assist in executing acquisition and renewal process, including exporting data for merging and internally-routing solicitation mailings, as well as weighing in on strategies for emails, direct mail, and acquisition/upgrade campaigns. 
• Carry out the timely acknowledgment/receipt of Individual Giving contributions. This includes working with Development Operations to ensure proper coding of gifts and reporting, as well as updating all associated letter templates in conjunction with campaign and communication strategy changes. 
• Provide support for Individual Giving event planning, including but not limited to an annual virtual fundraising event and benefit fulfillment as needed. 
• Database upkeep and maintenance, including but not limited to inputting constituent feedback, identifying duplicates, and merging records).
• Provide general office administrative support including ordering office supplies and processing invoices.  Provide intra-departmental support as necessary .

Qualifications
• B.A. or B.S. Degree or equivalent experience
• 2 years of relevant professional work experience
• Possess excellent verbal, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with fundraising software or CRM (Tessitura, Salesforce, Blackbaud, etc.)
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to handle confidential matters appropriately
