Job Description
Sesame Workshop is looking to hire a Coordinator, Audience Development. The coordinator will support all day-to-day social media operations. This position will assist with managing the content calendar for multiple social media channels on multiple platforms, copywriting for social media posts, real-time responses, and weekly analytical reports. This role will require high attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and excellent copywriting skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media
• Assist with the day-to-day management of channel calendars and scheduling
• Create and draft social media posts and ensure proper approvals from internal teams, coordinating ISI, advocacy, and publishing content across channels
• Schedule posts natively in platforms, via Hootsuite, or via other tools as directed
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual social media tracking and analytic reports using Facebook Insights, Twitter Insights, Iconosquare, Hootsuite, Tableau, and more.
• Manage Social media Partner Guide creation and distribution
• Manage creative requests for social media content
• Participate in content brainstorms and strategy conversations
• Supporting social content curation from the archives
• Assist with ongoing and crisis-related social media monitoring
• Ensure archival and new content is regularly uploaded to LetterA/NetX, to expand content offerings for local offices

Web/Digital
• Support Web Strategy, SEO, SEM work and projects as directed

Administration
• Take meetings notes as requested by the VP
• Coordinate team meetings
• Manage VP's expense reports and calendar
• Other admin support, as requested

QUALIFCATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations or similar experience
• Minimum of one year of professional-level experience in a social media role
• A deep understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and more.
• Experience working social media analytical tools including Facebook Insights and Twitter Insights
• Experience with Hootsuite or other social management platforms
• Strong copywriting skills and high attention to detail
• Spanish or other languages a plus
OTHER:
• Able to demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion and professional courtesy
• Strong sense of urgency
• Well-organized and self-motivated
• Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
