As a Software Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver software products while ensuring the highest quality and timely delivery. Your role will require exceptional leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of software development processes. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong Agile and Scrum experience with proficiency in using project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all phases of software production from initial planning to final delivery.
• Implement and manage Agile and Scrum methodologies for software development teams.
• Use Jira and Confluence to track, manage, and communicate project progress.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Prioritize tasks based on company goals and team capacity.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Qualifications
• 3 years industry experience in the context of agile software/web development within an established team.
• Proven experience as a Software Production Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role in software development.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership skills with a problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience in managing remote teams is a plus.
$80,000 - $130,000 a year
This salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in Vancouver, Canada. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications, skills, and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary outside of this range and will also be dependent on your location.
