Job Description
En tant qu'Artiste d'éclairage, vous serez responsable de l'éclairage et du rendu des éléments nécessaires pour réaliser des personnages et des environnements CG en images de synthèse de haute qualité et photoréalistes pour des projets en prises de vue réelles.
As a Lighter, you will be responsible for the lighting and rendering of elements needed to complete high-end photorealistic live action CG characters and environments.
Principales responsabilités/ Key Responsibilities
• Créer et concevoir l'éclairage pour des scènes complexes construites à partir de différents départements en amont tels que layout, animation et les effets
• Travailler en collaboration avec les responsables d'éclairage et les compositeurs pour s'assurer que tous les éléments livrés fonctionnent comme il se doit pour obtenir le rendu souhaité
• Create and design lighting for complex scenes; built from various upstream departments such as Layout, Animation and FX.
• Work together with Lighting Leads and Compositors to ensure that all elements delivered work as needed to achieve the desired look
Qualifications
• Diplôme universitaire en arts numériques ou expérience équivalente
• Minimum de trois (3) ans d'expérience en effets visuels
• Connaissances de logiciels tels que Houdini, 3ds Max, VRay Maya/ VRay, et/ou Arnold
• Compréhension claire de l'espace couleur, de l'éclairage basé sur l'image, du shading, de la configuration de scène et des méthodologies avancées de rendu.
• Capacité à multitâches et à terminer les tâches dans les délais de production et les échéances serrées de manière organisée.
• Esprit d'équipe et aptitude à travailler en collaboration dans un environnement collaboratif et à répondre positivement aux directives et conseils des responsables et superviseurs(es)
• Bachelor's degree in a field of Digital Arts or equivalent experience
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in visual effects
• Proficiency with 3ds Max and VRay or Houdini preferred, experience with Maya/ VRay, Arnold, or other software considered
• Clear understanding of color space, image-based lighting, shading, scene set up and advanced rendering methodologies
• Able to multitask and complete tasks within production schedules and tight deadlines in an organized manner
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and responds well to direction and guidance from leads and supervisors
