Risk, Benefits & Wellness Coordinator (FT)

This position will help coordinate and assist all aspects of the SS&E's benefits programs. The Risk, Benefits and Wellness Coordinator will assist the Manager Benefits and Wellness in the implementation of strategies to effectively manage SS&E's benefits programs and encourage employee participation. This position participates in annual benefit plan design review and implementation, strategic planning, and communication of the SS&E's comprehensive wellness program and other benefit programs. Additionally, this position will assist the Associate Director Risk, Benefits & Wellness with projects, as needed.

What You'll Do: 
• Assist with the administration of multiple employee benefits programs, such as group health, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
• Consult with employees, managers, and P&C colleagues re: leave and return-to-work processes, information concerning policies, procedures, and programs, and consult with third party administrators and/or health vendors to provide pertinent information.
• Assist with the reviews of data, billing audits, and create, maintain and file reports and records regarding monthly eligibility, census files, OSHA reports, and additional reports as needed.
• Assist with the development of promotion and publicity plans for wellness and fitness programs throughout the organization.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of assigned projects, including but not limited to annual open enrollment, benefit plan implementation, eligibility audits, employee benefit manuals, employee wellness or wellness incentive program(s), and other projects as assigned associated with the Risk, Benefits & Wellness team.

Who You Are:  
• Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred.
• 1+ years of experience with benefits administration and/or insurance administration.
• Marketing/communications experience +
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, and other computer skills required. Canva preferred not required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and support multiple high-level positions.
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
• Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Strong teamwork aptitude required.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Strong good oral and written communication skills
• The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Stand/Sit/Walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Ability to work in office a minimum of two days a week, and additional days as needed.
