Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join us as an integral member of the Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) Marketing Department. If you are passionate about supporting marketing functions for the San Antonio Spurs and key business units, including Spurs Sports Academy (Youth Sports arm of SS&E) or Spurs Give (Non-Profit Partner of SS&E), in addition to collaborating on various marketing projects and processes throughout the organization, this role is for you!
Our Marketing Coordinator will proactively interact with a variety of cross-functional areas, such as ticketing, marketing partnerships, creative services, digital communications and game operations to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
• Assist in development of annual strategic marketing & communication plans for Spurs Sports Academy or Spurs Give, and the San Antonio Spurs while facilitating each plan's execution through collaboration with internal stake holders.
• Create innovative digital-first marketing strategies which help achieve strategic business goals and engage fans. Oversee, implement, forecast and recap marketing & communication campaigns.
• Maintain working knowledge of target audiences, new products and services, results of marketing and promotional tactics, and new marketing-related technologies.
• Assist in development and management of marketing budgets, as needed, including monitoring expenses on a monthly basis for accuracy and appropriateness, completing timely reports to leadership and taking prompt and corrective action when required.
• Develop and maintain professional, collaborative relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders to achieve strategic marketing goals and objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Four-year degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications.
• 1-2 years' experience in related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, proactively problem solve and be highly organized.
• Ability to lift up to 30 llbs., work long, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess a clean driving record in order to operate company-owned vehicles.
• Ability to perform 80% of responsibilities remotely; 20% of work to be performed on site as needed.
