Assistant Equipment & Facilities Manager

Job Description

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA's):
• Maintain the equipment room and related inventory supporting the Sacramento Kings.
• Maintain clean and organized equipment, storage, and locker rooms in alignment with the team's commitment to professionalism.
• Assist in the shipment of equipment and related materials.
• Oversee laundry services.
• Respond to management, support staff employees, coaching staff, and player requests, to appropriately distribute team apparel and/or surplus equipment.
• Assist the coaching staff with practice including running the clock.
• Responsible for practice and game-day gear setup and clean up.
• Assists the Equipment Manager as needed.
• Oversees locker room attendants during games
• Managing practice facility equipment schedules and preventative maintenance
• Documenting processes, supervising cleaning schedules, facility cleanliness, deep cleans and disinfecting protocols
• Liaising with vendors and suppliers on behalf of senior management
• Work order coordination and completion
• Conduct routine building inspections and coordinate work with senior management
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Previous equipment management experience preferred (collegiate or professional).
• Willingness to work varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to travel for extended periods of time throughout the year.
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Must be goal, detail, and multi-task oriented with the ability to prioritize.
• Must be able to work in a confidential environment, and capable of working with high-profile individuals in a professional manner.
• Able to perform physically demanding work with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation:

The salary range for this exempt position is $60,000 - $65,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
