DI Post Coordinator

Job Description

ROUSH Media in Burbank is looking for a DI post coordinator to manage the finishing of projects for all types of deliverables for feature film and TV clients. The ideal candidate will have prior working experience in finishing and delivery for long-form feature film and TV post-production environments.

Goal: Communicate with clients, manage orders and to conform projects for color, as well as create final deliverables.

Skills we are looking for:

• Knowledge of FilmLight Baselight software for conforming an edit and rendering deliverables in a timely manner.

• Knowledge of Blackmagic Resolve software for conform, mastering, and delivery.

• A Finishing or assistant Editor background and proficient in all major NLEs including Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, FCP X.

• Understanding of EDLs, XMLS, AAFs, and the conform process

• Detailed knowledge of frame rates, codecs, and standard raster sizes & associated math skills.

• Understanding of basic networking, IT and computer skills

• Deep knowledge of DI workflows and delivery formats

• Knowledge of different color spaces, mastering of deliverables/files including DCP, DCDM, IMF, ProRes, and more.

• Knowledge of QC issues on deliverables

Experience:

• Xytech’s Media Pulse

• Baselight, Resolve 1 year (Preferred)

• Avid, and Premiere

• Post-production experience: 3 years (Required)

• Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
