Vice President, Entertainment PR (TV, Streaming and Film)

Responsibilities

The Overview

R&CPMK is seeking an experienced Entertainment focused Vice President to join our team. This exciting role will focus on corporate and consumer communications, executive visibility and compelling narrative development, leading PR teams within several diverse industries including technology, entertainment, and media.

This role will serve as the primary PR contact for several global brands, films, and studios. You will lead and develop account teams to encourage creative comms that drives our client's corporate objectives. As Vice President, you will develop layered comms strategies around consumer trends and business goals, including top-tier earned media placements, speaking opportunities and conferences, sponsorships, awards and events.

A key part of success is researching, identifying, and helping negotiate strategic narratives and compelling storylines. You should be immersed in trends in tech, lifestyle, and culture, which gives you a strong POV on how to create meaningful platforms for brands that move the world forward.

The Fine Print

A passionate storyteller. You're a natural narrator and understand how to create sophisticated stories for different audiences. You show a passion for the constantly evolving consumer and corporate landscape. You will thrive working in a fast-paced and results-oriented role that requires you to counsel and advise clients on overall brand comms strategy, landscape analysis, and consumer trends.

A PR pro. You have a proven track record of developing and implementing integrated PR strategies that utilize the full scope of the communications mix, including media relations, influencer outreach, talent relations, and events. You have experience working as part of an integrated marketing team, representing the PR POV while helping to run cross-agency workstreams for national/global campaigns.

A strong team leader. You'll have experience mentoring and developing the skill set of the rising stars in your team. You will work with peers to foster the mission, goals, and culture of the agency.

You will be used to approaching your work with an entrepreneurial mentality. You'll seek out change and embrace critical questioning, innovation, service, and continuous evolution.

The Needs

This role is accountable for quality control and review of budgets, planning and strategy decks, recaps, vendor and partner contracts, and overall project management.
• Experience at Director level achieved within a PR agency structure or internal equivalent
• Ability to develop strong traditional media, social media, and influencer strategies
• Experience with executive visibility and thought leadership
• Proven experience evolving and elevating agency processes and client strategies with changing trends in the media landscape
• Experience working within an integrated agency team structure
• Team leader

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
