The Overview:

Our Senior Account Director will be the point person to lead accounts for premier emerging technology, gaming, and pop culture brands. We look to you to drive phenomenal ideas, reshape client business problems into strategic and creative briefs and develop innovative solutions. If you are a multifaceted, highly strategic media relations and PR professional with a strong tech PR background, we are looking for you!

Please note, the location of this role is flexible. Ideally, you will be based in one of our office locations.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as day-to-day leader for account team members ranging from account supervisors to account executives
• Consistently test new tactics and analyze success and failures so that we can apply to future pitches.
• Assist with research ideation for B2C brands, based on opportunities with the current news cycle and what our competitors are doing.
• Develop creative, results-driven public relations programs that garner high-profile earned media results and accomplish client objectives
• Create and deliver client presentations and plans
• Develop and maintain strong personal relationship with senior clients
• Develop quality standards and ensure client satisfaction
• Supervise all writing and editing and provide direction to ensure quality control
• Manage account finances, develop accurate estimates, and adhere to approved budgets
• Identify and develop client growth opportunities
• Work with peers to further the mission, goals, and culture of the agency
• Mentor individuals so that they can achieve their professional goals

The Needs:
• 8+ years of earned media relations experience; large PR agency/client experience strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities, comfort driving, and executing several initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to think critically, and convert the results of complex analysis in a straightforward way
• Experience in leading scope of work and budgets
• Ability to switch gears and manage many competing responsibilities
• Skilled at providing direction and mentorship to team members, can build relationships inside and outside the organization
