Your New Role…
Rocksteady is looking for a Senior Rendering Programmer to join our dedicated and collaborative team.
The role involves writing, extending, and optimising the sophisticated graphics technologies which power our game. You'll be refining existing techniques, exploring new ones, and developing tools for more efficient content creation.
You'll also work closely with artists & tech artists to support them in delivering the Art Director's vision, and together come up with creative solutions to deliver the highest quality game experience on our target hardware, including high-end PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Developing rendering features and systems
• Profiling and optimising on CPU & GPU
• Guiding artists in content creation and optimisation
• Improving debug tools and development workflows
• Researching, prototyping, and implementing new rendering techniques
Qualifications & Experience…
• A high level of C++ coding and general technical ability
• A strong graphics background with knowledge of cutting-edge rendering techniques and 3D maths
• A good understanding of current graphics hardware, APIs and shader programming languages
• Knowledge of a variety of CPU, GPU and asset optimisation approaches
• Professional game development experience on high quality projects
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 preferred
• Familiarity with the latest generation of consoles preferred
