Title: Talent ID Lead – North
Location: London UK (Full-Time)
The Role:
Roc Nation Sports International is seeking a Talent ID Lead - North to support our football division. The position is based in the London headquarters and will be the driving force of Roc Nation Sports in the European youth Football market, with the focus on UK recruitment. The incumbent will play a critical role in the identification, recruitment and on pitch management of all Roc Nation youth players. This will be amplified through off-pitch support via the commercial, operations and PR teams both in the London office.
Responsibilities:
• Build an extensive database of UK and European based youth footballers, 14-19 years old
• Manage talent ID resources – scouts
• Actively update team members on a weekly basis regarding progress in all team meetings
• Conduct bi-weekly catch ups with RNSI football team
• Support with managing all UK and European based RNSI football clients pre-existing and new recruits
• Provide day to day support to players and amplify athletes' profile in collaboration with the commercial team
• Ad-hoc projects and catch up if there are urgent and/or reactive player leads
• UK wide travel and European travel when required
• Attendance to all major club and international team competitions
Objective(s):
• To recruit 4 - 7 of the best European based players to be announced as the 'class of' for that year
• Support in the recruitment 2 – 4 of the top emerging talents who fit the RNSI player 'DNA'
• To be on top of the future 'class of' recruitment for future years
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of talent identification experience
• Track record and proven ability of developing and delivering a world class talent identification program that produces world class performers
• Track record in communicating, connecting and collaborating with a global focus with an ability to build quality relationships
• Proven track record of leading high performance programs
• Working with the proven philosophy of programs that are people centered, Development driven and Competition supported
• Fluent in English with knowledge of a secondary language preferably French or Spanish
• An active interest in sport and its wider impact on society
• FA Talent ID Level 1 and 2
• Team player with exemplary interpersonal skills needed to work in a dynamic and complex environment
• Ability to challenge, lead colleagues and key stakeholders through periods of change
