The Role:

Roc Nation, is looking for a Sales Coordinator to support the Sr. Director of Event Partnerships and the wider partnerships team to drive and support new business acquisition and client service in their NY office. This role is ideal for a candidate interested in festival partnerships, property sales and business development. The ideal candidate has the ability to assist a team in attaining and exceeding revenue goals in this very competitive and high-growth space, while building relationships with major global brands.

The Sales Coordinator would also support MIA initiatives; Founded in 2012, Made In America is Roc Nation's annual cultural festival with a diverse performance lineup curated by JAY-Z, that takes place each year on the iconic Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities/Key Areas of Focus:
• Responsible for coordinating sales outreach, marketplace research – focusing on creating new opportunities for Made in America and other premier events
• Assist with execution of event details from pre to post event
• Prioritization of sales resources and efforts against highest-potential efforts
• Combination of individual sales responsibilities via outreach and research, as well as support to Sr. Director for analyses, materials development, presentations, post-deal stewardship, and long-term customer relationship development
• Create persuasive marketing presentations using case studies to close sales deals
• Provide thought leadership identifying and analyzing key accounts for aggressive prospecting and dramatic growth, utilizing qualitative and effective Client Development strategies
• Will serve as the liaison between NY and Global partnership teams
• Support Sr. Director during the event production process
• Leverage all available team capabilities and resources – from Product, Content, Client Services and Marketing -- developing client pitches and proposals, working collaboratively with partnerships team
• Dynamically adapt sales pitches and proposals based on specifically identified client interests and preferences
• Develop creative partnerships and sponsorships with stakeholders
• Work together with Marketing team to provide input in the development of sales and marketing materials, including content, positioning, and pitch materials

Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, prospecting and fostering accounts via consultative selling. Background working across events, digital, music, or management firm is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated track record developing and maintaining relationships with multiple divisions and company leaders to ensure appropriate communications and a coordinated approach to maximizing successes with clients
• Proven success to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Strong creative sales strategist
• Must be proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
• Adept at brand coverage and able to maintain a consistent pipeline of new opportunities
• BA / BS degree is required
