Title: Director, Communications (Sports International)
Location: London, England (Full-Time, On-Site)
The Role
Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is searching for a well-connected PR and Communications Director with a passion for sports, music, lifestyle and brands. This role will join our Roc Nation Sports International division based in London, and report into President of RNSI. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for our clients – leading meetings, calls and reporting. Thanks to your excellent media contacts across sports, lifestyle and consumer media, you will deliver a regular media coverage that matters for distinctive PR campaigns for some of the world's leading sports stars, rights holders and brands. You'll work with the Roc Nation creative team to dream up big, bold content ideas and stories – actively encouraged to follow your creative flair.
Requirements:
• Passion for PR and brand storytelling
• Strong media contacts and an ability to network in order to build your contact database
• Understanding of influencers and how to work with them
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Enthusiastic and reliable self-starter
• Organized and proactive
• Interest for sport, music, culture and trends
Responsibilities:
Media Relations
• Delivery and day-to-day management of strategic PR, influencer and content campaigns
• High standard of written materials including press releases, status reports, event schedules, briefs and more
• News generation – identify new and fresh ways to secure editorial media coverage on behalf of clients in line with client PR strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with key media and influencers across sports, lifestyle and mainstream media
• Maintain agency media lists to highest standard
• Media monitoring – regular track of the UK and international media agenda and providing coverage reports
• Evaluation – evaluate and share campaign results for clients
Client Management
• Build and maintain positive relations with clients and represent the agency standards and culture
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of your client's business objectives
• Plan and run client meetings and calls
Campaign Planning & Creativity
• Idea generation – attend brainstorms and help to create ideas and opportunities for existing and potential new clients
• Research - research potential PR campaigns for clients or new business prospects
• Planning – develop activation plans for key clients alongside your line manager
COVID-19 vaccination series and booster shot is a mandatory requirement for this position.
