Associate Producer (Apex Mobile)

Respawn Entertainment is a AAA video game development studio that aspires to create new hit games that leave a lasting impact for gamers worldwide. Our work includes the critically acclaimed multi-platform games Apex Legends and Titanfall franchise.

Role

As a Creative Content Associate Producer, you drive execution on a cross-functional development team to build and launch a AAA mobile game. This role reports to the Creative Content Director. It would work closely with the lead content producer while engaging with other departments on the team to create, track and execute successful content.

The ideal candidate has experience managing outsourced art studios, a deep understanding of the product development processes, organizing large backlogs, and working with multi-disciplinary teams from the concept phase through to live service. This candidate has experience in mobile development, free-to-play games, virtual economies, and, ideally, the mobile FPS market.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage content pipeline schedules, deliveries, and distributions season to season via internal and external tracking means.
• Assist Mobile Respawn Creative Team with:
• 2D and 3D assets from concept to live.
• Seasonal content plans and pitches.
• CG and VO initiatives.
• Mocap efforts.
• Record meeting notes when needed and translate them into a coherent, organized recap and list of action items.

Requirements
• 2+ years of production experience on software development projects.
• Experience shipping successful mobile games.
• Understand the mobile application market and business models.
• Expertise using production tools and multimedia software applications (Jira, Trello, Confluence, AirTable, etc.).
• Excellent conceptual and technical writing skills.
• Ownership mentality: responsible, invested in outcomes.

Bonuses
• Experience in mobile app development or managing live services.
• Knowledge of FPS games- both PC/Console and Mobile.
• Fluent in Mandarin
