Charlotte, N.C. based Raycom Sports is a leader for compelling storytelling, production, and content distribution across all platforms. With an award-winning production team, Raycom creates original feature programming, produces RSN College Football & Basketball and manages the Atlantic Coast Conference's archival footage, mobile applications, social media, and the official ACC website.

Job Summary/Description:
ORIGIN SPORTS is our recently launched brand focusing on the biggest stars in sports and operates currently as a 24/7 linear streaming service (running on free ad-supported TV platforms such as Roku, Samsung TV Plus, Xumo), with syndicated programming and developing social brand presence on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok. Today, ORIGIN SPORTS combines re-broadcasts of classic games, licensed programs and with original ORIGIN SPORTS productions. We are looking for a Producer / Editor whose responsibility involves the creation, development, and completion of original programming in a creative and cinematic way. This position requires the ability to organize and execute a story using skills in AVID Media Composer. Technical knowledge and aptitude, including Adobe After Effects, live to tape streaming, and basic skills in audio mixing and color correction are a plus.

Essential Functions & Basic Duties (but not limited to):

Editor / Producer (AVID Media Composer)
*Storyboard, Research and Visualize sports programming.
*Create and execute a vision, build story content and maintain video flow and feel.
*Build AVID sequences, follow story structure and execute vision from start to finish.
*Have ability to make editorial content decisions independently in AVID.
*Organize AVID projects, media, archives and execute into a timeline.
*Meet production deadlines on a timely basis. Some traveling is involved.

Qualifications/Requirements:
*3 Plus years editing in non-linear applications and knowledge of post-production techniques (Avid Media Composer). Editing skills are essential.
*Knowledge of Adobe CC (After Effects audition and Media Encoder).
*Knowledge of audio/video storage and archiving procedures.
*Working with Creative Teams (graphics, marketing, sales).
*Experience organizing and executing projects with large amounts of media.
*Schedule shoots, crews and produce/conduct interviews on site.
*Execute interviews in a virtual manner when applicable.
*Field production, cinematography and lighting skills are a plus.
*Experience working with CMS platforms and delivering media and associated assets in the digital ecosystem.
*Other responsibilities not related to specific job skills... include time management, the aptitude to communicate and work cohesively in small groups, ability to work on multiple production deliverables at a time.
