UI ENGINEERING

What You'll Do

Psyonix is looking for an experienced UI Engineer to champion implementation of our user-facing features. You will be working with Producers, Designers, Artists and other Engineers to build new features and improve upon existing features and front-end systems. You will also have a say in what features will be coming and help identify new opportunities for additions to the game.

In this role, you will
• Design and create technical specifications for UI features and systems
• Collaborate with multiple departments to come up with balanced solutions
• Maintain and extend existing features and systems
• Implement prototypes and mockups that can be improved through iterative development

What we're looking for
• Has professional game development and/or engineering experience
• Is mindful of UX in games and software applications
• Has a solid understanding of OO principles and a foundational understanding of C++
• Is self-motivated with a desire to continuously improve
• Can think creatively using available resources
• Unreal Engine; UMG; Blueprints; Adobe Animate; Photoshop; Xd; Actionscript; Scaleform are all pluses
