Technical Operations Analyst (Contract)

As a part of Sony Computer Entertainment, the Future Technology Group (FTG) is leading the cloud gaming revolution, putting console-quality video games on any device, from TVs to consoles to mobile devices and beyond.

The Technical Operations Support Team is a critical component of our support structure that enables FTG to successfully operate a global footprint at scale. We are focused on the day-to-day needs of our infrastructure and the services that support our world class streaming products.

We are currently looking for a Technical Operations Analyst in Aliso Viejo, CA

What you'll be doing:
• Complete Jira support tickets and Slack requests by leveraging standard operating procedures (SOP) and adhering to proper escalation processes when necessary
• Collaborate with other TOS team members around the globe to achieve department objectives
• Be a proactive contributor in updating and validating SOP documentation
• Actively participate in other assigned projects

What we are looking for:
• 0-1 years of experience in Information Technology or foundational computer knowledge
• Work flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs
• Exceptional communicator, with superb attention to detail, and a strong commitment to continuous learning
• An ''Extreme Ownership'' mindset

Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarization of Linux OS and basic foundational commands
• Experience with PC hardware/software troubleshooting
• Jira Service Management and Confluence experience
• Have completed technical coursework, certifications, or any IT related studies

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
