Job Description
Staff Product Manager, Innovation
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Staff Product Manager to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for helping a cross-functional team of like-minded individuals create value for new kinds of customers that SIE has not traditionally served, taking new opportunities from 0→1.
You'll work to discover valuable problems to solve for a variety of customers, collaborate to identify concepts that solve them in a way that creates opportunity for SIE, and develop them towards investment and/or formal productization. Beyond helping to shape the products themselves, you'll contribute to the development and testing of business models, the assessment of market size and target customers, financial modeling and projection, and how to best set up new products and businesses for success.
You should be passionate about learning through scrappy testing and experimentation, adept at using data to inform decision-making, and comfortable working through ambiguity with an ability to wear lots of hats. Experience in customer and market research, new product incubation, product strategy & specification, and go-to-market planning is highly desired. The ability to champion and promote new ideas is essential, as is the ability to be humble and leave them behind.
