We are looking for hardworking Technical Software QA Engineers to join our Client QA team, responsible for testing the exciting features primarily on PlayStation's Flagship console, the PS5!

Primary Responsibilities
• Review product requirements and design documents to understand how the feature works on the PlayStation console and build effective testing strategies.
• Plan and implement QA related activities; build test plan, test cases, and complete to ensure the quality of new features
• Develop and implement standard methodologies for automation, continuous build and deploy, automated testing and end-to-end testing. Maintenance of the PS5 devices used in testing.
• Passionate about Quality and strives to improve process, proposes standard methodologies and drives their usage within the team.
• Expand testing and automation within team to promote ownership of quality. Monitor various Jenkins Jobs and report statuses
• Work with Developers, Product Owners to ensure that all features and bug fixes come with automated test coverage
• Collaborate with multiple cross-site teams
• Assist with production deployment support and post release
• Report, track and verify defects

Qualifications
• Minimum BS degree in CS or a related field, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge
• 3+ years of experience in building and implementing test plans and test cases
• 3+ years of experience writing automated tests in Python, Java Script or any other Programming Language
• Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and implementing comprehensive test suites
• Ability to estimate effort and size of features
• Understanding of automation test framework like pytest. Experience with Selenium or Appium
• Practical experience using development and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker
• Experience with test case management systems & JIRA database systems
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with cross functional/cross-site collaboration
• Experience with at least one modern web application framework, preferably React

Please note that the individual base pay range may vary based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.

$40 - $60 USD
