Software Engineering Manager, Full-Stack Application Development

As Software Engineering Manager, Full-Stack Application Development, you will partner with leads, engineers and designers of different departments to deliver robust, high-quality tools and applications that support Future Technology Group's services like the all new PlayStation Plus. Help our team to identify customer requirements, handle technical challenges and improve business processes for our staff. Participate in the design and implementation of cloud native system architectures. Work with project managers to remove blockers, build an inclusive team spirit, and improve the impact of our team's work. Provide career development and mentorship for engineering team members and provide regular project updates to our management.

Requirements
• 10+ years of software application development experience
• First experience in leading software engineering teams or projects
• BS, MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Skills & Knowledge
• Experience developing user interfaces and services for distributed web applications
• Shown knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS and at least one JS-based web development framework: Angular, React, Vue, NodeJS.
• Experience with technologies such as HTTP, REST, JSON, SQL, No-SQL, gRPC
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle principles like SOLID, YAGNI, HATEOAS, TDD
• Good understanding of agile development processes and knowledge of project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, etc.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS and cloud native technologies

Additional Attributes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, enjoys giving technical presentations
• Experience in requirements engineering and/or business analysis is a strong plus
• Being a gamer is a plus
