Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Diego, CA to collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and operations team members across the company to build solid payment platform solutions. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience working with a scrum team to support a platform of highly scalable distributed services that process high volume, real-time transactions in the eCommerce space. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience developing business critical software, developing features and circuit breakers for fault-tolerant applications; utilizing object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis; performing full stack development for front and back end; following software development processes, including coding standards, code reviews, build processes, testing code, operations, and deploying and running services in AWS; and in executing duties, utilizing ReactJS, Java, Springboot, J2EE, DynamoDB, SQL and NoSQL, REST, JSON, XML, OAuth2, AWS managed services including SQS queue, Kinesis, EC2 deployments, Serverless Lambda, and Sagemaker for ML model deployments. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$113,200 - $169,800 USD
