PlayStation is looking for a talented Junior Software Engineer interested in pushing the limits of streaming technology. As the leaders of game streaming, the Core team is responsible for developing the protocol and technology that powers PlayStation Now.

As a Junior Software Engineer, you are able to grasp technical concepts quickly and contribute to key features of the project. Your thirst for knowledge allows you to take on any challenge, making you a great asset to the team.

Responsibilities:
• Implement new client and server features
• Expand the PlayStation Now service to new platforms
• Follow the development process to ensure on time and on budget delivery

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 2 years programming in C++
• Experience working with client/server architecture
• Excellent debugging skills
• Motivated self starter capable of removing roadblocks
• Attention to detail at both the product and coding level
• Ability to work with others and communicate ideas effectively (written and verbal)

Pluses
• Experience working with client/server architecture
• Video encoding/decoding experience
• Network experience with UDP protocols
• JavaScript experience
• Experience developing on mobile platforms (Android or iOS)
• Avid gamer
