PlayStation is looking for a Software Engineer to help build our next generation technologies. Responsibilities:

Gather requirements and craft solutions for JavaScript-based components and applications for the PlayStation ecosystem, including the next-generation console.
Own features, analyzing design and building for testability, scalability, and performance.

Work independently and collaborate with junior engineers on your team

Exercise your feature building capabilities and collaborate within your team to optimize existing solutions as well

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
• You possess 3-5 years professional software development experience
• Highly proficient in customer facing UI Development
• Experience collaborating with multi functional partners, especially with product, design, and server engineering
• Domain proficiency in performance optimization or comparable areas within your current field.

Bonus:
• Expertise with SPA/front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar
• Experience developing native mobile applications (iOS/Android)
• Experience with restful APIs or GraphQL
• Experience with eCommerce
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
