Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer 3 in San Diego, CA to participate as a member of the development team to perform in-depth analysis of functional or business requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent, plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience creating and maintaining Java code and providing component-level designs for platforms. Prior experience must include five (5) years of progressively responsible experience performing code reviews; preparing and executing unit tests; preparing and executing integration tests as part of a larger test automation strategy; selecting appropriate and efficient design patterns to solve technical issues and suggesting proper technology to improve performance including Java; implementing end user and enterprise infrastructure or services; developing applications on Unix/Linux platforms; working with servlet containers, JAXRS, Spring, agile development methodologies, test driven development processes, source control, bug tracking systems, object-oriented analysis and design; and, developing web services using JSON and XML.
