Job Description
Why PlayStation?

Do you have a passion for immersive experiences? We have an enthusiastic userbase, and what you help build directly impacts them! At PlayStation, we are looking for individuals to join a diverse environment where you'll help craft rich, user-friendly solutions for our enthusiastic gamers. If you are passionate about quality, problem-solving, and collaborating with teams across the globe, we believe you will be an extraordinary fit!

As a Technical Program Manager, you will serve as the cornerstone of cross-collaboration between our Product, QA, and Software Development teams. Successful candidates will have the technical expertise to engage software developers, the business savvy to connect with leadership, and the soft skills to influence others.

Located in scenic San Francisco. When you're not building the best gaming experience possible, you'll have access to great food, wine country, hiking, and all of Silicon Valley. We have a very flexible work-from-home policy: live close enough to the office for occasional in-person meetings and events, otherwise, work in the office as much or as little as you like!

Responsibilities
• Define, implement, and maintain the necessary processes to ensure a continuous, consistent, and streamlined workflow.
• Collaborate with Product and Software Development teams to help establish the product roadmaps with clear goals and milestones.
• Identify potential bottlenecks and roadblocks required for delivering on the roadmap and follow-up to prevent workflow disruptions.
• Work with partners to define performance indicators and develop the process and tools to track them.
• Assemble internal and external feedback, identify areas for improvement and implement the appropriate responses.
• Coordinate release management between QA and Software Development teams during product updates and new feature launches.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science or related fields
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Project Lead
• Strong communication, cross-group collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience project planning and aligning cross-functional teams onto a shared schedule.
• Experience working with at least 2 product teams or product lines
• Ability to work with others at all levels, effective at working with geographically remote and culturally diverse teams
• Technical proficiency and background
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies

Bonus
• Prior experience as a software developer, tester, or technical product manager
• Prior experience with Project/Program management tools like JIRA and Confluence
