We have an opportunity with San Diego Studio. We seek an Senior Systems Game Designer with a passion for baseball to join the team and work on MLB The Show. This role will focus on teaming up with other designers on our key game modes and continuing to tailor and advance the experience into the future.

The right person will bring their own creative perspective and design skills to the product. The ideal candidate designs from a place of empathy, is highly creative, is on top of recent trends, is a self-starter, and is capable of creating first class experiences. Does that sound like you?

We need your help with:
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product development, UI/UX design, art and engineering to brainstorm, design and implement fun and innovative gameplay
• Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate gameplay and design ideas
• Presenting to peers and partners while clearly communicating design rationale
• Learning and promoting standard processes, and sharing these with other cross-functional teams

You're good at:
• Demonstrating design skills with a strong portfolio
• Communicating with peers and partners while collecting feedback in order to iterate on design
• Creating logic trees, flow charts and analytical/mathematical balancing
• Keeping up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technology

Bonus points for:
• A personal connection to the sport of baseball
• Experience working on:
• Sports video games
• Games with RPG mechanics
• Live services

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$101,800 - $152,800 USD
