Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA to serve as senior engineer, leading the data pipelines team. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing and developing next generation platforms enabling customer facing and highly scalable applications. Prior experience must include five (5) years of building data pipelines to transfer data from tools including Oracle, Cassandra, and SnowFlake Data warehouse to Data Lakes including S3, HDFS, and Google Cloud Storage; building data streaming jobs to process data in real-time to extract key features and provide data analysis; designing and developing data infrastructure solutions to create data marts through extracting and transforming data from different sources; overseeing the data platform components for monitoring data quality and to drive troubleshooting and tuning; and utilizing J2EE, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Javascript, ExtJS, Ajax, JSON, XML, Oracle, PL/SQL, RESTful Web services, Spring, Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss, and Apache Tomcat.
