Summary:

The Senior QA Engineer will join our Quality Engineering team, part of Experience Technology Group, Sony Interactive Entertainment.

You will be leading quality for subscriptions end-to-end programs engineering of customer-facing applications in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
• Drive the QA Plan for End to End testing; build concrete test plans, write solid test cases, and implement them to ensure the quality of features across multiple platforms
• Review product requirements and design documents to understand how the feature works on the PlayStation mobile app and build effective testing strategies
• Own the release activities and be involved in post-release QA activities
• Collaborate with distributed teams for multi-functional test plan design and execution
• Work with QA team members and software developers from different teams to trouble-shoot test failures in the various test environments
• Report, track and verify defects
• Monitor and maintain various Jenkins Jobs and report statuses
• Write test scripts for existing automation test suites
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and development processes

Required Qualifications:
• 7+ years of shown experience in building and driving test plans and test cases.
• Experience in a lead capacity, leading small to medium projects
• Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and implementing comprehensive test suites for system software
• Experience with automation using any programming language: Java, Python, etc
• Knowledge and experience testing APIs
• 3+ yrs Experience with Selenium or Appium
• 2+ yrs Experience using source control (esp. Git) and CI/CD tools (Nice to have)
• Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work constructively with developers, QA, Design, and PMO toward a common goal
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$140,200 - $210,400 USD
