Responsibilities:
The Senior Product Operations manager responsible for driving operational excellence within the Product & Data Strategy (PDS) Dept and between Product and our internal business partners. Your role is important in unlocking the product teams' full potential by supporting Product Managers to make high-quality, informed decisions and scaling optimally.
You will be responsible for leading Operations planning and processes & managing PlayStation's strategy projects. You will coordinate the efforts of various partner, product and delivery teams and ensure milestones are achieved and key deliverables are available on schedule. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, focused, highly motivated, and hardworking Operations Manager who can help drive the future of PlayStation.
The responsibilities listed are not all encompassing and additional duties may be assigned.
• Drive end to end delivery of complex pivotal initiatives and process with multiple dependencies and cross functional stakeholders
• Work with the team to develop documentation, including scopes of work, project plans, project definition & status reports
• Lead Operational/Process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows & Business interactions.
• Lead schedules, meeting facilitation, key results, team expectations, and timing for assigned projects
• Work collaboratively with business partners and project team members to further the business objectives of products and services
• Provide risk mitigation related to scope and quality by communicating a clear description of problems and potential solutions to senior staff
• Supervise internal review, approval, presentations preparation, and presentation/delivery
• Ensure accurate trafficking of deliverables and results where appropriate
• Ensure needed approvals and sign-offs obtained on all deliverables
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of direct experience or related role in one or more of the following: Product Operations, Project/Program Management, Product Management, Strategy Management
• Degree from a four-year college in fields relating to business management, product development, engineering, communication, media, product design, or equivalent.
• Outstanding project management skills
• Self-motivated & strives for results
• Outstanding interpersonal & communications
• Experience in leading multi-stream projects and collaboration between executive internal partners
• Strong negotiation skills with a daring approach to find solutions within a collaborative team
• Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills
• Solid understanding/experience with PM tools like Jira, MS Project, Wrike, Google, Teams, etc
Desired qualifications:
• Ability to move projects forward with some ambiguity
• Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems and multi-task
• Experience in Process Design/Planning; with an ability to observe the business & then recommend/plan/implement new efficiencies and continuous improvements
• Experience and/or interest in gaming & the video game industry is strongly desired. Experience in digital entertainment, consumer electronics, and/or technology is a plus.
• Experience leading multi-stream projects and relationships between internal partners
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, writing, and verbal skills
• Keen sense of ownership of process and results
• Training and understanding of Agile software development process

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$140,300 - $210,500 USD
