The Data Strategy & Operations (DSO) team has grown rapidly over recent years in response to an increasing need for the business to use data to inform, and to identify new opportunities and to drive data driven decisions. Currently there are over 150 staff within the DSO team, split between London and California, made up of highly skilled training, business intelligence (BI) and data professionals covering BI architecture, platform support, data processing, insight reporting, predictive analytics, scrum masters and product management.

DSO is looking to recruit a skilled, highly driven individual for a global customer facing role driving the use of data as a strategic tool; enabling teams to create value and drive competitive advantage through leveraging data as an enterprise asset.

The Program Manager will join the Data Literacy Service team of skilled business intelligence (BI) analyst and L&D trainers to grow and evolve the game changing global data literacy program that educates colleagues on where to find data, what to do with it and how reliable and useful it is. The program will put data in the center of decision making, achieving faster and more accurate data-informed business decisions with better business outcomes, and a data-first culture that is dedicated to all things data.

Responsibilities:

Program Development:
• Creating and leading roadmaps for implementing a data literacy / up-skills program
• Collaborating with team members to lead planning, scope, dependencies, risks/issues
• Developing and monitoring of objectives, key measures and outcomes and timelines for delivery
• Implement industry standard methodologies to drive adoption of data driven culture, with the support of the Data Literacy Services Team, and assess and measure culture change across SIE.
• Collaborate closely with the business on their data literacy initiatives in order to learn from their experiences and ensure a coordinated approach across SIE

Customer Engagement:
• Collaborate cross departments to raise awareness of program goals and mission to influence a data driven culture.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify data comprehension gaps and take steps to fill them.
• Grow a data community that cultivates knowledge share, self-serve, and data re-use
• Facilitate data events, connect with internal or external speakers, grow internal data community

Customer Education:
• Design sustainable, multi-faceted learning solutions across multiple customers, that will scale and evolve with the growth of the business, using various modern learning modalities
• Deliver online and in-person data literacy training from course design to participant management and course evaluation
• Own the development of content, resources and materials
• Support our analyst community data needs and data fluency
• Handle the data literacy content development lifecycle for various media types

Desired Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in program or project management
• Experience working in data literacy, data governance and culture programs
• Experience working with an abstract goal that needs to be turned into actionable bodies of work.
• Experience leading and facilitate large scale change
• Experience in influencing and collaborate with colleagues to achieve targeted outcomes and create business value
• Ability to travel, including some international travel, for key collaborator meetings

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience implementing adult learning design best practices
• Experience with, Atlassian tools (Jira, Trello or Confluence), L&D, Articulate 360, MicroStrategy, Tableau or similar
• Experience in a global gaming and media company
• BA/BS degree in data and analytics or education-related field
