Role: Localisation Test Lead (QA Studios)

Role Overview:

The Localisation Test Lead is responsible for managing the Localisation Testing of products within PlayStation Studios.

You'll bring your experience and skills in the Localisation QA space to our team and in return you'll have the opportunity to work on the biggest and best games. You will work on ground-breaking hardware and videogames within a large multicultural, global team; helping us drive and build the future of games and games testing.

What you'll be doing:
• Own the creation and communication of test plans for assigned products to Test teams, production, and global stakeholders
• Communicate with producers and global stakeholders, ensuring they are kept up to date with testing progress and title status
• Create and implement appropriate resource plans, including vendors, and supporting Test Managers in generating title budgets
• Manage global Test teams, including onsite testing staff and vendors, for assigned products
• Provide day to day direction, support, and guidance to Test teams
• Maintain excellent knowledge of QA services both current and emerging
• Collaborate with peer group and global teams to promote knowledge sharing and the cultivation of innovation within PlayStation Studios QA
• Gather feedback and data to build and facilitate global facing retrospectives, new services, strategies, and tools
• Maintaining, developing, and promoting knowledge in the field of quality assurance through attendance at training courses and self-directed learning

What we are looking for:
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at once
• Extensive knowledge and practical expertise in quality assurance/software testing
• Quality assurance and quality control techniques, methodologies, and practices
• Understanding Test Strategy and Resource Management
• Lead and manage remote teams through global communication
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers globally
• Expertise in cross-cultural business and remote team interaction
• Demonstrated knowledge of defect tracking systems and web-based database utilisation
• Demonstrated experience with building and managing effective teams

Desirable
• Knowledge of the localisation industry
• Previous experience within a QA Operations environment
• Successfully shipped global titles on current generation platforms
• ISTQB Foundation level qualification or higher
• ITIL certification
• Project Management accreditation
• Experience in organisational change and conflict resolution
• Proficiency in another language
