Position: Licensing Associate
Location: San Mateo, CA / Hybrid / Remote

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Associate to support the PlayStation Licensed Merchandise team through the complete lifecycle of deal proposals and ongoing management. In this role, you will facilitate incoming deal proposals, manage licensing rights, and ensure accurate royalty reporting and SKU reconciliation. You will also be responsible for maintaining project tracking sheets, coordinating product requests, and scheduling meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Deal Facilitation: Oversee the process of incoming deal proposals from negotiation through to execution, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with agreed terms.
• Database Management: Maintain and update the database of licensing rights granted to licensees, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Royalty Reporting: Collaborate with licensees on royalty reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions and performing SKU reconciliation as needed.
• Project Tracking: Coordinate and maintain the accuracy of project tracking sheets, product placement records, and sales reports to support licensing operations.
• Forecasting and Report Review: Assist the licensing team with forecasting and review royalty reports to ensure financial accuracy and consistency.
• Product Request Coordination: Organize and manage product requests with both internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Meeting Scheduling: Schedule and coordinate meetings for the licensing team, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
• Additional Support: Provide support to the licensing team with additional tasks and special projects as assigned (inclusive of marketing) demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in licensing partnerships
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing databases and tracking information.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with project management or database software.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide support on various tasks and projects as needed.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex tasks with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field preferred.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
