The PlayStation Network Advertising team is a global advertising sales organization focused on servicing the marketing needs of PlayStation's strategic platform partners. These include PlayStation's most integrated business partners across our Gaming, App and Entertainment portfolio. The Network Advertising business has accelerated in recent years and is investing in the team and technology to bring the business to new orders of magnitude growth! We are seeking a seasoned sales and marketing leader to help forge a path to significant scale with PlayStation's largest global customer segment. This role will sit at the front of our growth curve influencing the mid-to-long-term trajectory of how our largest partners engage with the business.

The Global Account Director will be responsible for business development efforts focused on delivering value at the most senior level of partner organizations. The three primary areas of influence will include strategic planning, coordination & execution of plans, and senior stakeholder engagement externally and across internal teams. As an individual contributor, playing an integral role within a global team assigned to a set of strategic accounts, you will be responsible for scaling and diversifying the ways in which these partners captivate with PlayStation, ultimately influencing the advertising investment portfolio of partners at large.

Success in this position requires demonstrated ability to influence senior level marketing decision makers at enterprise organizations, deep experience developing, planning and implementing global customer engagement strategies, and operating as a primary evangelist for PlayStation, with the knowledge and ability to promote all aspects of the business and platform. You will help set the culture and rhythm of business for the organization ensuring that all team members are engaged and proper governance exists to achieve department goals!

Responsibilities
• Own and drive the overall mid-to-long-term strategic direction of Global Strategic accounts, including planning and coordinating the overall customer engagement strategy across global business touchpoints
• Establish and maintain executive (SVP+) level relationships at partner organizations, representing PlayStation, and ensuring the appropriate path is opened for the desired strategic direction to be implemented upon
• Acquire and synthesize partner needs to inform sales, operations and product roadmaps to best serve partners and meet PlayStation business objectives
• Research and deeply understand market dynamics, shifting consumer behaviors, and act as an input to prioritization efforts against future business needs
• Develop standards for critical business engagements internally and externally such as quarterly business reviews, ongoing global account planning and partner intake and education engagements
• Maintain, plan, negotiate and execute long term contracts such as annual commitments and multi-year upfronts
• Collaborate across senior internal partners to implement joint plans and drive increased overall service value for partners
• Demonstrate team leadership by setting the cultural and professional standards by which others should follow
• Accountable for meeting global sales goals for assigned accounts in line with annual forecasts and maintaining accurate revenue plans and forecasts throughout the year

Core qualifications
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Sales, Partner Management or Business Development driving revenue growth with large global B2C enterprise organizations
• Deep understanding of the media, gaming and entertainment ecosystem, associated platforms and business models
• Demonstrable expertise navigating and influencing investment decisions at the executive level within media, marketing, commercial or associated partner departments
• Advanced negotiation skills with experience coordinating and closing highly complex deals
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate activities and drive initiatives to closure in matrixed team environments
• Breadth of experience informing and conducting financial processes with accountability for forecast accuracy across multiple regions and business units

Additional qualifications
• High degree of familiarity using Salesforce as the central hub for all sales activities along with other enterprise project management and advertising software applications
• Passionate about gaming, media and entertainment with a perspective on consumer experience and the direction of these industries
