The Global Sales and Business Operations (GSBO) team brings together staff from around the world, with a passion for engaging gamers with PlayStation's extraordinary products and services. GSBO teams are located in countries across the globe, balancing local relevance with a global perspective. Across our Direct to Consumer, channel partners, and services business, our teams work cross-functionally to bring the best of the PlayStation experience to markets and channels around the world.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of the commercial activity plan within Channel sales, working closely with commercial teams in hubs and territory.

The plan should support the delivery of the agreed global channel sales KPIs.

To do this they will manage all processes, templates, meetings and forums with hubs and territories to ensure efficient and effective communication and transparency of the plan to key stakeholders.

The candidate will need to be flexible and open to evolving roles and responsibilities aligned to the changing needs of this business unit as it grows and expands.

Role overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the commercial activity plan within Channel Sales, working closely with commercial teams in hubs and territory.

The plan should support the delivery of the agreed global channel sales KPIs.

To do this they will lead collaboration with stakeholders such as sales directors and other commercial stakeholders across, global marketing, services and CSD.

The candidate will need to be flexible and open to evolving roles and responsibilities aligned to the changing needs of this business unit as it grows and expands.

What you will be doing:
• Liaising with all relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment of the activity plan
• Work with hub and territory teams to ensure delivery of the activity plan
• Ensure activity plan meets the needs of our players & KPIs
• Delivery of our commercial critical path process, ensuring commercial activity in CS is planned, reviewed, monitored, delivered, and reviewed against our KPIs
• Activity is defined as but not limited to
• SW announce, pre-order, launch and lifecycle
• Hardware & Peripheral launches, promotions and bundle management
• CSD – working within the teams to ensure we have one clear plan for our territories
• Use data-driven insights and develop commercial opportunities with hubs and territory teams
• Some domestic and/or international travel may be required

What we are looking for:
• • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven track record in delivering commercial success in both strategy development and operational execution
• Entrepreneurial, with high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity, and efficient with limited resources
• Exceptional leader and collaborative team player in a highly agile and fast-paced environment
• Ability and desire to create strong relationships and collaborate at all levels of the organization
• Director level commercial operator either in marketing with commercial experience or vice-versa
• Confident, able to demonstrate impact across multiple teams in complex projects
• Strong communicator, comfortable with senior interaction, challenge and debate
• Extensive track record of using data to influence and inform decisions
