Corporate Communications Manager

Job Description

SIE is looking for a Corporate Communications Manager to join the Communications team at our global headquarters in San Mateo, CA. This position will provide the opportunity to shape executive and corporate communications for the PlayStation brand across multiple channels and audiences.

The Corporate Communications Manager will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications and support developing strategies to highlight innovation, creativity, and culture within one of the world's leading entertainment companies. This is a great opportunity to build on skills acquired across PR agency experience and in house Corporate Communications teams.

Responsibilities
• Develop written materials including press releases, executive internal communications, and corporate blog stories.
• Cultivate relationships with business press, mainstream consumer press, and gaming press.
• Support coverage reporting and measuring communications effectiveness.
• Partner with other SIE Comms team members to contribute to broader department initiatives, including events, product briefings, and other media programs.
• Complete projects with minimal direction while keeping management and team members informed

Qualifications
• Five years of experience in Public Relations, with at least two years focused on Corporate Communications.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills is a requirement.
• Solid background in media relations, PR writing, supporting financial communication, and working with agencies.
• Experience working collaboratively with others across a global organization.
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative, creative, and proactive
• Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
• PR agency experience is strongly preferred.
• Passion for the entertainment industry and an interest in video games is a plus.
